Moms my child is getting ready to get out of her crib, any suggestions?

And I don’t mean she is about too jump out! lol She is 14 months and though she loves her dang crib so much (I wish she was in bed with me so i could snuggle more lol) But Im starting to think about when I should move her to a Toddler Bed.. Her crib is supposed to turn into one, but i don’t know if i have all the pieces to do that…And also lost the directions in the move :/ and I really don’t want to go buy one of those cheap toddler beds just so i can use them for a year and then have to go out and buy another bed! I was thinking about buying twin mattresses and just putting them on the floor with a protector so she doesnt fall off the bed and when she gets a little older buy a cute bed for it..? Is that silly? Or no.. If anyone has any suggestions by all means im all ears! Thanks in advance!
