Is it abnormal to rock back and forth while listening to music when you’re NOT in a rocking chair?

I normally sit in my rocker/recliner and unwind this way, but was out of town in a hotel and someone saw me in a regular chair doing this. He said I looked mentally ill! I happen to know quite a few people who rock this way while listening to music, without listening to music, watching TV, while they are talking etc.. Still, I only let my own family see me in my chair just in case it is something bad. I’d appreciate some educated advice. Thanks!

Nope, perfectly normal. Everybody does it naturally actually, only by ‘correcting’ adults, it gets stopped in most people.
